Interstate VW Battery, 12 Volt, + core charge if no core return

This is the correct battery for your air-cooled VW, assuming it's 12V.  It fits correctly in the bracket under the rear seat and has the proper plastic insulator plate to prevent it from arching out against the seat springs when someone sits down.
