The rear oil seal rides on this spacer and the o-ring sits in the groove of it. If worn or pitted, it can cause leaks. This locking tab locks prevents the spindle nuts from loosening up wen tightened together. Always use a new tab when servicing, and it's not a bad idea to keep a couple extras. Sold each.	The thrust washer installs between the wheel bearing and the spindle nut, preventing the rotating bearing from loosening or tightening the nut. It applies even pressure on the bearing for proper wear.
